29 CFR 1910.213(c)(1): Each circular hand-fed ripsaw shall be guarded by a hood which shall completely enclose that portion of the saw above the table and that portion of the saw above the material being cut: a) The Makita table saw located in the warehouse did not have the saw blade guarded. Employees operating the saw and other employees who may be in the work area are exposed to the unguarded blade. Location: Home Depot Store located at 980 Third Ave, New York, N.Y. On or about 1/17/2014 NOTE: BECAUSE THIS ITEM WAS CORRECTED DURING THE INSPECTION THE EMPLOYER IS NOT REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION NOR DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
