29 CFR 1926.1413(c)(4): The wire rope inspection must be documented according to �� 1926.1412(f)(7) (annual/comprehensive inspection documentation). a. Located at the site, employees were removing a 60 foot, 3 inch I-beam and 6 foot by 10 foot concrete slabs by using a Bucyrus Erie 60 ton lattice boom crawler crane, model 30b, serial number 134548 that did not have an annual inspection conducted that was documented of the wire rope used, thereby exposing the employees to the hazards associated with crane operations and the materials being hoisted.
