29 CFR 1910.180(d)(5)(ii): A crane which was idle for a period of six months was not given a complete inspection conforming with requirements of paragraphs (d) (3) and (4) of this section and paragraph (g)(2)(ii) of this section before placing in service: On or about October 23, 2012, a truck crane which had not been used since May 13, 2011, and had not received a complete inspection since September 6, 2011, was placed in service and was not given a complete inspection prior to use after sitting idle for over six months.
