29 CFR 1910.217(c)(1)(i): The employer did not provide and ensure the usage of point of operation guards or properly applied point of operation devices on every operation performed on mechanical power press(es). On or about May 30, 2012 employees were operating the Warco Punch Press # 2 and the machine was not guarded exposing employees to amputation hazards. Abatement certification is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(c).
