29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: (a) Dietary, Dishwashing Area: Employees use a corrosive product, Ecolab Ultra Klene, for the washing and sanitation of dishes in the dish machine. The Ecolab Ultra Klene contains sodium hydroxide which is corrosive. The employer has not provided suitable facilities for the quick drenching of the eyes within the work area for immediate emergency use, as determined on May 22, 2012. Abatement Certification Required for this Item.
