Labor and Employment Article, Section 5-104(a): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: (a)Date of Violation:03/10/14 Location:Warehouse Equipment:Clark Forklift Model CHY60, SN CHY60-178-2008, 6-69 Condition:The forklift was not provided with a seatbelt. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct this hazard, install and utilize a restraint system in accordance with the current version of American national Standards Institute (ANSI) B56.1, "Safety Standard of Powered Industrial Trucks," and American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) B56.1-2012, "Safety Standard for Low Lift and High Lift Trucks."
