Labor and Employment Article, Section 5-104(a): The employer did not furnish emp loyment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that w ere causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: (a)D ate of Violation:12/14/10 Location:Lot #33 Condition:Employees were exposed to t he hazard of being crushed/struck by collapsing roof trusses due to inadequate bracing techniques. Among other methods, one feas ible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is to install bracin g in accordance with the Wood Truss Council of America recommendations per BCSI- B2. Abatement documentation (photographs, receipts, copies of programs, training certification, etc.) is required for this item.
