29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): Machine guarding was not provided to protect operator(s) and other employees from hazard(s) created by point of operation, rotating part(s), reciprocating part(s), or in-running nip point(s): a)Icehouse floor area, on or about October 21, 2010, and at times prior to, employees worked around and near a 15 X 15 inch, 24-foot metal floor trough with openings that were about 3.5 X 4.5 inches wide, the trough contained a rotating 9-inch scroll auger, which exposed employees to amputation, laceration and caught-in hazard. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION AND DOCUMENTATION ARE REQUIRED
