29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1):Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: a) Warehouse/Paint Department - On or about 02/20/2025 and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to health and respiratory hazards in that, the employer failed to ensure that training for hazardous chemicals was provided to employees when they were required to handle chemicals such as but not limited to Pure Orange (electrostatic coating, respiratory irritant). b) Warehouse/Welding Department - On or about 02/20/2025 and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to health and respiratory hazards in that, the employer failed to ensure that training for hazardous chemicals was provided to employees when they were required to handle chemicals such as but not limited to low carbon steel wire, copper and copper alloys, carbon and alloy steels and various welding gases.
