29 CFR 1910.179(l)(3)(iii)(d): Pendant control stations were not kept clean, and/or their function labels were not kept legible. a. ABC Technologies WMG USA, Inc. - Bellevue, Ohio: On or about September 30, 2024, employees who operated Crane #2, a floor-operated Engineered Material Handling overhead gantry crane (model ZLK; s/n 975382) were exposed to struck-by and crushing injuries in that the remote radio controller associated with the crane was missing function labels. The control buttons for hoisting and lowering were not labeled to indicate the direction of movement. No additional abatement information is needed for this item.
