29 CFR 1910.134(e)(1): The employer did not provide a medical evaluation to determine the employee's ability to use a respirator, before the employee was fit tested or required to use the respirator in the workplace: At the Coreslab Structures Inc. facility located at 1615 W Arrow Street in Marshall Missouri 65340, on October 2, 2024, and at times prior: Employees were exposed to respirable crystalline silica dust while performing sandblasting operations. Employees are required to wear a supplied air respirator while performing sandblasting operations. The employer failed to provide medical evaluations by a physician or other licensed healthcare professional (PLHCP) prior to initial use of the Bullard Free-Air sandblasting air supplied respirator hood.
