29 CFR 1910.178(m)(5)(iii): Powered industrial truck(s), with the operator dismounted and within 25 feet of the truck still in his view, did not have the load engaging means fully lowered: a) Yard: Employees stood within three feet of forklifts while actuating the dumping mechanisms on hoppers that were elevated by the forks, and the employer did not ensure that the forklifts' load engaging means (forks) were fully lowered when the dismounted operators remained within 25 feet of the industrial trucks, on or about August 14, 2024. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
