29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i)(A): Authorized employee(s) did not receive training in the recognition of applicable hazardous energy sources, the type and magnitude of the energy available in the workplace, and the methods and means necessary for energy isolation: a) E-Coat & Liquid Line; Stages 1 through 10: On December 16, 2024, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to amputation and engulfment hazards; in that, the employer did not provide authorized employees with training on the methods and means for isolating the energy sources of stages 1 through 10 of the E-Coat & Liquid Line as employees entered the machine to perform maintenance activities such as but not limited to, unjamming the line by retrieving products that had fallen from the conveyor system.
