29 CFR 1926.652(a)(1): Each employee in an excavation was not protected from cave-ins by an adequate protective system designed in accordance with 29 CFR 1926.652 (b) or (c). On or about July 17, 2024, and at times prior to, at the east side of the jobsite, a subcontractor employee worked in an excavation that was more than 5 feet in depth, without protection from cave-ins by an adequate protective system. Cherokee Pride Construction, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard 29 CFR 1926.652(a)(1) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1493069, citation number 01, item number 01, and was affirmed as a final order on August 2, 2021, with respect to a workplace located at the corner of 91st and Aspen in Broken Arrow, OK 74012.
