29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed: (a) On or about July 17, 2024, located at 504 E Randy Road, Oak Creek, WI 53154, the employer failed to ensure the extension ladder placed on the gable side of the garage roof used to access the upper landing extended at least three feet, exposing employees to a fall hazard of approximately 12 feet. Los Gallos Roofing, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1618856, citation number 1, item number 4 and was affirmed as a final order on February 22, 2023, with respect to a workplace located at 1388 30th Street, Somers, WI 53171.
