29 CFR 1910.242(b): Effective chip guarding and personal protective equipment was not used when compressed air was used for cleaning purposes: (a) Production Areas - On or about July 11, 2024, employees using compressed air which had been reduced to less than thirty pounds per square inch for cleaning were exposed to struck-by hazards in that air nozzles were not equipped with chip guarding. Certification Not Required.
