29 CFR 1910.269(c)(1)(ii): The employer did not ensure that the employee in charge conducted a job briefing that met paragraphs (c)(2) though (c)(4) of this section with the employees involved before they start each job: (a) On or about 6/19/2024 -PGP gas distribution field Coaling, AL, the employer exposed employees to electrocution hazards when deenergizing and reenergizing distribution line, in that, an adequate job briefing was not performed that covered hazards associated with the job, work procedures involved, special precautions, energy-source controls, and personal protective equipment required. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET), and in addition, documentation demonstrating that abatement is complete must be included with your certification. This documentation may include, but is not limited to, evidence of the purchase or repair of the equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement, or other written records.
