29 CFR 1926.1101(g)(1): The employer did not use engineering controls and work practices in all operations covered by 29 CFR 1926.1101, regardless of the levels of the exposure: a) In the boiler room, on or about March 11, 2024 - Engineering controls and work practices such as, but not limited to, wet methods, vacuums with HEPA filters, and leak-tight containers were not used in all operations covered by 29 CFR 1926.1101. Employees removed breeching insulation from the boiler system, containing approximately 60% Chrysotile asbestos.
