29 CFR 1910.252(b)(2)(iii):Workers and other persons adjacent to the welding area were not protected from the rays by noncombustible or flameproof screens or shields: The employer is exposing employee(s) to light radiation hazards. This was most recently documented on April 24, 2024 at 84504 North State Highway 11, Burwell, Nebraska. Areas of the facility were not covered by shields, screens, or otherwise protective material where welding was occurring. Employees working nearby or passing through are exposed to high intensity light radiation from welding flash in the following by not limited to areas. (A) - Rakes assembly area in the 'Old Shed' (B) - Rakes assembly area in the 'Big Shed'
