29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: a) Plant 1, High porch, on or about April 12, 2024 - An eye wash and shower station was not available in an emergency situation when exposure to corrosive materials such as but not limited to: Sodium Fluorosilicate 98%; Silicic acid 75% powder; and Ref-Bond MP2 were manually added to hopper during production tasks. b) Plant 2, Mixing area, on or about April 12, 2024 - The shower station was not operational and there were not any emergency station available for quick flushing of eyes and body in the immediate area where employees were exposed to corrosive amines solvents such as Baxxodur EC301 which was transferred from 55-gallon drums.
