29 CFR 1910.119(n):The employer did not establish an emergency plan for the entire plant in accordance with the provisions of 29 CFR 1910.38: (a)Smithfield Foods, Inc. at 1400 North Weber Avenue, Sioux Falls, SD 57103: On or about and at times prior to March 27, 2024, the employer did not alert all employees in the affected portions of the workplace, including stairwells and in bathrooms, of an ammonia release. This condition exposed employees to anhydrous ammonia.
