29 CFR 1926.501(b)(4)(i): Each employee on walking/working surfaces was not protected from falling through holes (including skylights), more than six feet (1.8 m) above lower levels, by personal fall arrest systems, covers, or guardrail systems erected around such holes. a) Warehouse roof: On or about November 20, 2023, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards of approximately 19-feet to the lower warehouse concrete floor, in that skylights were not guarded or covered while employees were engaged in roofing activities. b) Warehouse roof: On or about January 29, 2024, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards of 19-feet to the lower warehouse concrete floor, in that skylights were not guarded or covered while employees were engaged in framing and roofing activities.
