29 CFR 1926.652(a)(1): Each employee in an excavation were not protected from cave-ins by an adequate protective system designed in accordance with paragraph (b) or (c) of this section except when: (a) On or about January 10, 2024, and at times prior thereto, employees working in an excavation at the St. Paul Episcopal Church , were not provided cave-in protection exposing them to cave-in hazards.
