29 CFR 1926.652(a)(1):Each employee in an excavation shall be protected from cave-ins by an adequate protective system designed in accordance with paragraph (b) or (c) of this section except when: a. At 2375 State Road 16, Saint Augustine Florida: On or about December 06, 2023, in the 13.5-feet deep excavation, the employer exposed employees to crushing and cave-in hazards, in that the employer did not provide a protective system to prevent collapse of the excavation side wall soil.
