29 CFR 1910.213(i)(1): Nonworking portion(s) of the blade of bandsaw(s) were not enclosed or guarded: a. Truss Line 4 - On or about December 8, 2023, the Power Matic vertical band saw 888108? blade was not adjusted to the size of the stock and the blade was not fully encapsulated within an adjustable guard, exposing employees to a caught in hazard. b. Truss Line 3 - On or about December 8, 2023, the Delta Model 20 vertical band saw was not adjusted to the size of the stock and guard closed after use, the unused portion of the blade under the table near the tensioner was not guarded, exposing employees to a caught in hazard. c. Truss Line 2 - On or about December 8, 2023, The Power Matic model 81 serial 8881000 vertical band saw was not adjusted to the size of the stock and guard closed after use, the unused portion of the blade under the table near the tensioner was not guarded, exposing employees to a caught in hazard. d. Truss Line 1 - On or about December 8, 2023, the Northfield vertical band saw Serial 783021-L, the guard on the upper wheel enclosure was damaged exposing portions of the blade, the band saw operational cutting area was not adjusted to the size of the stock and guard closed after use, the unused portion of the blade under the table near the tensioner was not guarded, exposing employees to a caught in hazard.
