29 CFR 1926.451(c)(2)(v) Applicable to general industry employment as defined by 29 CFR 1910.27(a): Fork-lifts shall not be used to support scaffold platforms unless the entire platform is attached to the fork and the fork-lift is not moved horizontally while the platform is occupied: On or about January 16, 2024, employees engaged in pallet recovery activities at United States Cold Storage located at 4302 South 30th Street, Omaha, Nebraska were exposed to fall hazards in that the employer did not ensure the reach stacker safety cage attachment D-rings properly clasped to secure the basket chain to the vehicle mast.
