29 CFR 1910.1025(j)(1)(i): A medical surveillance program was not instituted for all employee(s) who were, or could be exposed to lead above the action level for more than thirty days per year: a) In the Welding and Fab Shop, on or about October 17, 2023 - The employer did not institute a medical surveillance program for Machine Operators who use the Bodor Laser. The Machine Operators use the Bodor Laser to cut honeycombs coated with tin lead solder and to cut stainless steel which resuspended previously settled particulate containing lead from cutting honeycombs. A Machine Operator was exposed to lead above the permissible exposure limit while cutting stainless steel on the Bodor Laser.
