29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1):Employees on scaffolds more than 10 feet (3.1 m) above a lower level were not protected from falling to that lower level by fall protection established in paragraphs (g)(1)(i)-(vii) of this section. On or about 3 October 2023, two employees of CA Jones were working on a scaffold more than 10 feet above a lower level working on a residential home located at 283 Crestfield Court in Saint Charles, Missouri. They were not utilizing guardrail systems, a safety net system, or a personal fall arrest system. The employees were observed on the scaffold at a level above 10 feet without fall protection, exposing them to falls to the ground below.
