29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(6)(ii): The employer shall ensure that each container of hazardous chemicals in the workplace is labeled, tagged or marked with product identifier and words, pictures, symbols, or combination thereof, which provide at least general information regarding the hazards of the chemicals, and which, in conjunction with the other information immediately available to employees under the hazard communication program, will provide employees with the specific information regarding the physical and health hazards of the hazardous chemical: On or about December 20, 2024, at a facility located at 246 Trowbridge Drive in Fond du Lac, WI; the employer did not ensure that Clean Out of Place (COP) tanks were labeled, tagged, or marked with information to conveyor the identity of the chemical within nor with the physical and health hazards of the chemical. The COP tank at Line 4 was not labeled to identify that the chemical Chloro Clean No. 269 was contained in the tank, nor was the tank labeled to inform of the corrosive hazards of the chemical.
