29 CFR 1910.107(b)(9): A clear space of not less than 3 feet on all sides was not kept free from storage or combustible construction. a.) On or about August 23, 2023, and at times prior thereto, barrels of chemicals were stored within three (3) feet around spray booth 1. This exposed the employees to a fire hazard. b.) On or about August 23, 2023, and at times prior thereto, containers of flammable chemicals and combustibles were stored within three (3) feet around the DOT spray booth. This exposed the employees to a fire hazard. c.) On or about August 23, 2023, and at times prior thereto, hazardous waste drums and combustibles were stored within three (3) feet around spray booth 2. This exposed the employees to a fire hazard.
