29 CFR 1910.219(f)(3): Sprocket wheels and chains which were seven (7) feet or less above the floor or platform were not enclosed: a) Plant Floor Wet Side - Quality Control - Sprocket wheel and chain assembly for block conveyor, approximately 1.5 feet above the floor, was not guarded, thus exposing employees to amputation hazards. This condition was observed on or about October 26, 2023. NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
