29 CFR 1910.217(c)(2)(i)(a): Point of operation guard(s) on mechanical power press(es) did not prevent entry of hands or fingers into the point of operation by reaching through, over, under or around the guard(s). On or about July 31, 2023, and at times prior thereto, employees were exposed to machine guarding hazards: a. Employees were operating a press machine with holes cut in the guards, exposing the employees to amputation hazards. b. Employees were operating a press machine with bent/deflected guarding, exposing the employees to amputation hazards.
