29 CFR 1910.95(i)(2): The employer did not ensure that hearing protectors were worn by employees whose exposures equaled or exceeded an 8-hour time-weighted average of 85 decibels: a) Plant 1 Welding Department: July 31, 2023 and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to hearing loss, in that hearing protection was not being enforced by the employer for employees who are required to wear hearing protection in a department with a TWA of 85 dbA and higher, in order to perform work duties.
