29 CFR 1910.219(c)(4)(i): Projecting shaft ends did not present a smooth edge and end and did not project more than one-half the diameter of the shaft unless guarded by nonrotating caps or safety sleeves. (a) On or about June 30, 2023, and times prior thereto, employees were exposed to multiple protruding shafts 4 1/2 inches long 2 inches in diameter and in motion.
