29 CFR 1910.178(q)(7):Powered industrial truck(s) which were used on a round-the-clock basis were not examined for defects after each shift: a) On or about May 31st, 2023, at the U.S. Postal Service DMDU Annex Cata�o, North Platform, employee was operating a Toyota Electric Truck (Low-Jack Rider), model 8HBE30 without previously conducting a pre-inspection of the equipment. Power Industrial Truck (PIT) Pre-Tour Safety and Health Checklist was not filled by the employee prior to the operation of the equipment. NOTE: Certification and documentation of abatement must be submitted for this citation item as required by 29 CFR 1903 (c) and (d) respectively.
