29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: (a)American Engineered Products, LLC at 605 4th Street Southeast, De Smet, SD 57231: On or about and at times prior to May 10, 2023, the employer did not ensure that the chuck was guarded on the Enco vertical drill press located in the bag and tag area. This condition exposed employees to struck-by or caught-by hazards.
