29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(4): Ladders were used for purposes other than the purposes for which they were designed: a. On or about May 3, 2023, at the above addressed jobsite, an employee was performing residential framing operations immediately next to the unprotected edge of a second story residence while straddling the top cap of a self-supporting ladder, thereby exposing the employee to a combined fall height of approximately (18) eighteen feet.
