29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i): Procedures were not developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees were engaged in activities covered by this section: On or about April 27, 2023, and at times prior thereto, employees entered an area where molten slag metal is dumped from a furnace and there were no procedures to prevent the release of the molten slag metal from falling into the area where the employees were working. This exposed employees to a struck-by hazard.
