29 CFR 1910.303(b)(2): Listed or labeled electrical equipment was not used or installed in accordance with instructions included in the listing or labeling: a) Dispatch: The employer allowed employees to use a relocatable power tap (RPT) to energize a portable space heater and microwave oven and not plugged directly into a permanent branch circuit receptacle thereby not using the relocatable power tap in accordance with its listing and labeling thus exposing employees to electrical and fire hazards. This condition was observed on or about April 19, 2023. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
