29 CFR 1926.652(c): Design of support systems, shield systems, and other protective systems. Designs of support systems shield systems, and other protective systems selected and constructed by the employer or his designee were not in accordance with the requirements of paragraph (c)(1); or in the alternative, paragraph (c)(2); or in the alternative, paragraph (c)(3); or in the alternative, paragraph (c)(4) as follows: (a) On or about 4/3/2023, JFK Airport Building 49 Construction Site. Jamaica, NY Employees working in a trench approximately 8 ft. wide x 88 ft. long x 14 ft. deep with a protective system that was not constructed based on designs in accordance with the requirements of 1926.652(c).
