29 CFR 1910.135(a)(1):The employer did not ensure that each affected employee wear a protective helmet when working in areas where there is a potential for injury to the head from falling objects: At the worksite located at 4020 Winchester Avenue, Kansas City, Missouri- Employees are not required to wear protective helmets while being exposed to possible head injuries. When working at the facility outside of enclosed mechanical equipment employees are exposed to overhead hazards when working in areas such as, but not limited to the dump area wall, the dump pit, and near loaded trailers on foot or within uncovered machinery.
