29 CFR 1910.1030(d)(3)(ii): The employer did not ensure that the employee used appropriate personal protective equipment when there was occupational exposure: a) Facility: On or about 3/9/2023, the employer did not ensure that an employee with occupational exposure to blood wore appropriate personal protective equipment, including but not limited to gloves, when providing first aid and removing metal splinters. NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
