Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 004 Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.134(d)(1)(iii):The employer did not identify and evaluate the respiratory hazard(s) in the workplace; including a reasonable estimate of employee exposures to respiratory hazards and identification of the contaminant's chemical state and physical form: a) Hensa Stmp, Inc., Hose reel welding area, on or about January 19th, 2023 and times prior thereto: Employees were potentially exposed to welding fumes during welding operations in the hose reel area. The employer did not evaluate the workplace to determine employees exposure to levels of various air borne metal fumes during work operations associated with welding operations. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation (see below). This certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date abatement was completed, method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
