29 CFR 1910.242(b): Compressed air used for cleaning purposes was not reduced to less than 30 p.s.i.: (a)Bell Incorporated at 609 West Algonquin Street, Sioux Falls, SD 57104: On or about and at times prior to November 30, 2022, the employer failed to ensure that compressed air nozzles used for cleaning were regulated so as not to exceed 30 p.s.i. Employees regularly use a blow guns to clean off working surfaces of South Print Press area and general maintenance cleaning. This condition exposes employees to embolisms, hearing damage, and eye and body injuries from flying debris. (b)Bell Incorporated at 609 West Algonquin Street, Sioux Falls, SD 57104: On or about and at times prior to November 30, 2022, the employer did not ensure that compressed air nozzles used for cleaning were regulated so as not to exceed 30 p.s.i.
