29 CFR 1926.1060(a): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee using ladders, which would enable each employee to recognize hazards related to ladders and train each employee in the procedures to be followed to minimize these hazards: a) 1000 Fairfield Street, Scranton, PA: Employees were not trained to recognize hazards associated with using a ladder that did not extend three feet above the landing exposing employees to fall hazards of approximately 18 feet, on or about November 8, 2022. a) 1000 Fairfield Street, Scranton, PA: Employees were not trained to recognize hazards associated with carrying a ladder while descending an extension ladder, and were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 16 feet, on or about November 8, 2022.
