29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(D): Flexible cords and cables were used where attached to building surfaces: Employees are exposed to electrical shock hazards. Employees engaged in production activities in the maintenance shop were exposed to electrical shock hazards in that flexible cords used to power equipment while attached to building surfaces. Flexible cords powering drop lights and test equipment were being used while permanently attached to the building structure above and adjacent to each maintenance bay where heavy commercial vehicles are being operated.
