29 CFR 1910.215(a)(4):Work rest(s) on grinding machinery were not adjusted closely to the wheel with a maximum opening of one eighth inch: (a)BLDG 6468 53rd Street, Fort Campbell, KY: On or about 9/15/2022 and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to series lacerations or eye injury from struck-by and caught-in hazards, in that, employees were using a bench grinder to trim metal parts and the space between the work rest and abrasive wheel was greater than 1/4th of an inch.
