29 CFR 1910.176(b):Secure storage. Storage of material shall not create a hazard. Bags, containers, bundles, etc., stored in tiers shall be stacked, blocked, interlocked and limited in height so that they are stable and secure against sliding or collapse. a. DolGen Midwest LLC DBA Dollar General located at 3636 Lockbourne Road, Columbus, OH 43207: On and preceding May 24, 2022, the employer fails to ensure effective protection against struck-by hazards in the receiving/storage room. Throughout the receiving room employees are exposed to struck-by hazards from, plastic totes, boxes and loose materials that are stacked in a way that is unbalanced, unstable, unsecure. Dollar General Corporation was previously cited under the name Dolgencorp, LLC DBA Dollar General Store 7196 for a REPEAT violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard, 29 CFR 1910.176(b), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1535419, citation number 1, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on April 5, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 5129 Cottage Hill Road Store 7196, Mobile, AL 36609.
