29 CFR 1910.147(c)(6)(i)(A): The periodic inspection of the energy control procedure was not performed by an authorized employee other than the one utilizing the energy control procedure being inspected. On or about May 11, 2022, and at times prior thereto, the employer did not conduct periodic inspections of the energy control procedures for Repak equipment to ensure the unanticipated release of stored energy is prevented, exposing employees to the hazard of being caught-in the equipment.
