29 CFR 1910.213(k)(3): Each tenoning machine shall have all cutting heads, and saws if used, covered by metal guards. These guards shall cover at least the unused part of the periphery of the cutting head. If such a guard is constructed of sheet metal, the material used shall be not less than one-sixteenth inch in thickness, and if cast iron is used, it shall be not less than three-sixteenths inch in thickness. a) On or about May 18, 2022, at the facility located at N1308 Drumlin Drive, Campbellsport, WI, in Building 4, the saw blades of the Jenkins Woodworking Machinery Model #123 Double End Tenoner, Serial Number 910 were accessible by the Operator. b) On or about May 17, 2022, at the facility located at N1308 Drumlin Drive, Campbellsport, WI, in Building 11, the saw blades of the Mereen-Johnson Machine Co. Model Number 2020 D.E.T Double End Tenoner Serial Number MJ-6401 were accessible to the Operator and Stacker.
